The opportunity

 

As a Telecommunications Business Designer/Senior Business Analyst specializing in (m)any of the fields of Marketing, Sales, Service Transformation, Network (fixed or mobile) and Infrastructure, you will be committed to leading the evolution of our client's strategies and processes. On this journey, you will assess the current state, design plans and roadmaps for improvement, implement state of-the-art solutions and ensure operational efficiencies that align with the client's overall business strategy. Bringing your expertise and understanding the needs of our clients, you will work on implementing tailored strategies that drive sustained growth.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Identifying, analyzing, and implementing Marketing, Sales, Service Transformation, Network (fixed or mobile) and Infrastructure processes and strategies that align with business goals
  • Developing detailed business analyses to support any improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into system requirements and concrete solutions
  • Measuring and tracking the impact of implemented transformations and presenting results to stakeholders
  • Facilitating collaboration with different departments within the global EY network, contributing to project progress, and mentoring team members

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Proven experience in a similar role, within the Telecommunications Sector
  • University degree in business or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. is a plus)
  • Exceptional analytical skills, quick comprehension, accuracy, and detail orientation
  • Excellent team player with strong commitment and a high sense of responsibility
  • Expert knowledge of related tools and technologies (e.g. CRM Systems, Mar-Tech systems etc.)
  • Proactivity, open mind and the desire to learn more and do more

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related work experience
  • In-depth understanding of (m)any of Marketing, Sales, Service Transformation, Network (fixed or mobile) and Infrastructure technology and performance metrics
  • Proficient in conducting business analysis to improve customer service, sales or marketing processes
  • Strong communication skills in spoken and written English and German (min. C1)

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Experience with Customer-Facing Transformation: Expertise in implementing customer-centric approaches and handling change management projects
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence Tools: Competence in using BI tools to interpret data, generate reports, and present findings
  • Professional Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) are a plus
  • Sound knowledge in Adobe Suite (Experience Manager, Workfront, Analytics, experience platform) and/or Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
  • Project management experience is strongly preferred
