We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director to join our Global Managed Services team. This role supports strategic and operational decision making through data and insightful business analysis.  The role has to understand business needs and collaborate with other ES Finance team members to bring best in class analytical support and solutions.  The ability to understand and curate large data sets, present analysis and results through storytelling and problem solving is vital.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Be a 'Go To' contact for financial and business analysis while supporting MS and MS Leaders and act as a trusted business adviser. Develop effective working relationships with the extended Finance team and leadership. 
  • Focus on traditional performance management while also playing a key role in establishing "next generation" reporting frameworks.
  • Lead the development, management, and delivery of comprehensive performance reporting and financial analysis related to Managed services initiatives.
  • Analyze business performance by developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and presentations that enable business leaders to quickly understand performance and underlying drivers.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis services to GMS leadership in support of business planning and strategic and operational decision-making
  • Collaborate across EY (Super Regions, Service Lines, Finance, and Markets) to deliver one source of truth for Global Managed services performance.
  • Support the development of, and be responsible for running a suite of short and medium-term forecasting activities
  • Utilize EY’s Opportunity and Engagement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that impact business growth and client delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data quality, reporting tools, and analytical methodologies.
  • Take ownership of issue management and resolution, ensuring delivery of exceptional client service to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with EY’s financial policies and governance standards.

  • Global mindset – ability to work effectively as a virtual team member and ability and willingness to work in a multicultural and diverse environment and flex style as appropriate 
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal; able to present complex financial data in a way that is easily understandable 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Graduate and/or professional certification in a business-related subject matter (e.g., Accounting, Finance).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or business analysis, preferably within professional services.
  • Advanced skills in financial/markets reporting, data analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Experience in developing innovative reporting frameworks and defining key performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Analysis Servers, Excel).
