The opportunity

The selected candidate will: 

• Leads the Development & Engineering team in area of specialism and develops the team to ensure it has the right capability
• Work very closely with Product Owners, Software Developers, Designers and Domain Experts, in an Agile working model.
• Assume additional technical, organizational or coordination tasks or roles, as required
• Strategically leverages networks to drive innovation, best practice and a continuous improvement culture
• Collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside the team and collaborate professionally with Business Owners.

Your key responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for designing, developing, implementing and testing complete end-to-end business processes with a strong focus on quality
• Guide team development efforts towards successful product delivery.
• Collaborate with designers and domain experts. Work in a diverse team applying Scrum and agile development
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain applications built on SAP technologies.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
• Work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role.

Skills and attributes for success

• Highly advanced knowledge of designing, developing, and debugging solutions.
• Strong programming background and excellent technical skills in design, coding, testing, and delivery of secure, scalable, reliable, robust, and performant applications.
• Expertise in SAP RAP (SAP RESTful ABAP Application Programming) models, enabling efficient development of modern applications in the SAP ecosystem.
• Knowledge in the following areas is beneficial: BTP, CPI, Cloud Foundry, SAP Gateway.
• Knowledge of automation test frameworks like SonarQube is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred 
• B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA with an aggregate score of 70% or above from IIT/NIT/any tier 1 Institute preferred
• 6 to 9 years’ of experience in software development primarily in SAP technologies.
• Strong programming background of/Experience in UI technologies: UI5, Fiori, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, CSS3Should have experience in Developing CAP Programming Model and HANA CDS and Node js 
• Knowledge of automation test frameworks like SonarQube is required.
• Experience in cloud-based development using BTP, Cloud Foundry, Docker, AWS or Azure
• Understanding of OData, CDS views, any Database preferably HANA
•  Exposure to UX designing is a plusn ;v   Z nb Bl
• Combine CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) with SAP HANA Cloud to Create Full-Stack Applications
• Configure and Run a Predefined SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline
• Use core data services (CDS) in the context of the SAP CAP to quickly set up OData service.
• Consume Remote Services from SAP S/4HANA Cloud and Add the Consumption of an External Service Using CAP
• An advanced level of experience in SAP CDS and SQL is a must.
• An advanced level of experience in Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, and Creating Tables, and Views using SQL is a must.
• Expertise in Transact-SQL (DDL, DML, DCL) and in the Design and Normalization of database tables.
• Experience in Native HANA Modelling using HANA Studio - Experience in creating Calculation views, CDS views & Stored Procedures, Analytic Privileges, Input Parameters, Table function, Sc
• Proven knowledge of SAP HANA, CAPM, MTA, XSA, Cloud Foundry, NodeJS, Modelling, and SQL
• Experience using business application studio and VScode.
• Good experience on Identity Authentication, Identity Provider and OAuth
• Good to have SAP Fiori setup, activate and troubleshooting methodology
• Comfortable working with Annotations, Fiori elements, and SAP UI5 Smart controls.
• SAP BTP Cloud Foundry hands-on Experience is a must-have.
• Requires understanding of SAP Business technology platform (Cloud), SAP CAP- Cloud Application Programming Model, SAP Business Application Studio,
• GIT HUB, GIT, DevOps, Nodejs, & Microservice Architecture.
• Needs expertise in development, deploying configuring applications on cloud foundry using SAP CAPM.
• Experience in working with APIs (REST / SOAP) is a must.
• Knowledge of BTP Services like workflow management, Hana cloud, Document Service, etc, and configuring destination to cloud and Premise systems and using them in Applications.
• Knowledge of platform, operations like identity authorization, role collection configuration, etc.
• Expertise in these areas: SAPUI5 and FIORI APPS extension/configurations, SAP BAS to develop Fiori applications, JavaScript/ jQuery to write functions, good knowledge on MVC framework.
• Strong focus on Database and experienced in writing scalable SQL
• Experience in OData / Rest protocols
• Knowledge and experience in SAP Integration Suite and event mesh.
• Experience / PoC developments in Joule Studio and other Joule skills desired

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong analytical capabilities and logical skills, Solution designing experience is a must.
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Good understanding of agile methodology and scrum processes.
