Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote

The selected candidate:
- Provides technical leadership in the development and deployment of generative AI solutions, including large language models (LLMs), ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices
- Architects and oversees the design of scalable data and machine learning pipelines, ensuring robust, efficient, and secure integration of AI models into production environments
- Leads cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers, driving project timelines, resource allocation, and delivering impactful AI-driven products and solutions
- Champions innovation by staying ahead of the latest advancements in AI, guiding the strategic direction of AI initiatives, and mentoring team members to elevate the organization’s data science capabilities
Your key responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of data science insights using a range of tools and methods to create cognitive services involving complex algorithms, machine learning and artificial intelligence methods
- Developing new sophisticated algorithms and improving existing machine learning techniques
- Demonstrating ability to make business recommendations based on the data that drive better business decisions
- Collaborating with relevant business areas to identify new projects and opportunities, understanding their requirements, setting success criteria and ensuring delivery
- Possibly leading medium sized projects or training / mentoring junior team member
Skills and attributes for success
- 6+ years of experience in machine learning, data mining, predictive modeling, statistical modeling, large scale data acquisition, transformation, and cleaning, both structured and unstructured data
- Proficiency with data wrangling, visualization, and modeling in Python
- Experience in ML/NLP algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning
- In-depth knowledge of deep learning methods, including recurrent neural networks, long short-term memory (LSTM) networks, recursive neural networks, autoencoders etc.
- Experience in machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., sci-kit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, MXNet, PyTorch, MLlib)
- Experience with Hugging Face Transformers and other open-source NLP/NLG modules
- Experience with generative LLM fine-tuning and prompt engineering
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Knowledge of containerization platforms like Docker is a plus
- Bonus if you have experience with Git and modern software development workflow
Non-Technical Skills:
- Proven track record of leading and collaborating on strategic initiatives for at least the last 2-3 years
- Strong team and business communication skills – can walk through and approach with technical clients or explain tricky concepts to non-technical people
- Ability to collaborate with people at all levels and with multi-office or regional teams
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently. Strategic consulting experience is a plus
- Excellent in communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor/Master/PG/Ph.D in Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Social Sciences or related fields preferred
