As a Senior Consultant in our growing ServiceNow practice, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative solutions for some of New Zealand and Australia's leading organisations. Working across multiple industries and ServiceNow workflows, you'll translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions, collaborate with experienced architects and consultants across onshore/offshore delivery team, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex transformation programs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with client engagement. You'll play a hands-on role in solution delivery, helping clients maximise the value of the ServiceNow platform with opportunities to deepen your ServiceNow expertise and accelerate your consulting career.
This is a hybrid position based in Auckland or Wellington.
Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
- Design, configure and implement ServiceNow solutions across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to build, testing, deployment and hypercare.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, supportable and user-centric ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop and configure solutions using ServiceNow technologies including JavaScript/Glide scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, UI Builder and Service Portal.
- Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions, providing technical expertise and recommendations to architects, functional consultants and delivery leads.
- Support platform upgrades, instance health reviews and adherence to ServiceNow leading practices and an out-of-the-box-first approach.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, providing guidance, knowledge transfer and support throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Coach and support junior consultants, graduates and interns, contributing to capability development, knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous learning.
- Facilitate training sessions and knowledge transfer activities to help clients maximise the value of their ServiceNow investment.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform innovations, AI capabilities, and industry trends.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience delivering ServiceNow implementations as a Technical Consultant, Developer, or similar role.
- Strong experience configuring the ServiceNow platform, with a solid understanding of core platform fundamentals, including ACLs, business rules, client scripts, update sets, integrations, and data management.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required. Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or one or more Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience developing and supporting integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, OAuth, and related integration technologies.
- Experience with data migration and transformation activities
- Exposure to one or more ServiceNow workflow areas including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, PSDS, SPM, IRM/GRC, or SecOps is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into effective, scalable, and supportable technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed delivery teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for learning new technologies and staying current with ServiceNow platform innovations, including AI and automation capabilities.
