As EY continues to grow its Corporate Tax practice, we are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our team in Auckland. You will work with a diverse portfolio of organisations, including leading NZX-listed companies, privately owned businesses and multinational groups investing in New Zealand.

This is an opportunity to take a senior role in strengthening client relationships, delivering high-quality tax outcomes and supporting the continued growth of our practice. Experience within the financial services sector would be valuable.

Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you will lead significant client engagements and provide practical, commercially focused advice across a broad range of corporate tax matters. You will also play an important role in developing our people, connecting clients with the wider capabilities of EY and contributing to the continued growth of the Corporate Tax practice.

  • Lead the delivery of corporate tax advisory and compliance engagements, maintaining strong oversight of quality, risk, commercial outcomes and client expectations across multiple projects.
  • Build and maintain trusted senior client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and supporting clients with corporate tax matters, Inland Revenue engagements and evolving business requirements.
  • Bring together EY’s specialist capabilities by collaborating with teams across government incentives, indirect tax, international tax and transfer pricing, tax controversy, transactions, employment tax and global mobility.
  • Contribute to the growth and capability of the practice through business development, market insight and innovation, while coaching and supporting team members within an inclusive and high-performing environment

  • Strong technical and commercial capability, including the ability to interpret complex tax matters, identify relevant considerations and communicate advice clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience leading engagements and developing others, with the ability to manage competing priorities, support quality outcomes and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
