As our Senior Manager in Business Transformation, you’ll lead sales, delivery, and relationship management across our health care consulting team.

You’ll be a front-facing leader who can shape opportunities, create practical proposals, and then deliver programmes of work end-to-end—supporting operational performance enhancement, strategy and planning, and digitally enabled healthcare and data-driven transformation.

This is a hybrid position, ideally based in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office, with flexibility to be based in other EY office in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland)

 

Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of consulting engagements—balancing business development, account growth and delivery leadership.
  • Lead executive-level conversations, building credibility through a strong understanding of client issues and presenting clear, actionable solutions.
  • Drive proposal development (from idea generation through to winning work) and then lead delivery to measurable outcomes.
  • Lead the delivery of large and/or complex programmes with multiple stakeholders—supporting design, change, implementation, and benefits realisation.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior health leaders and system partners, strengthening EY’s presence and impact across the sector.
  • Lead, coach, and develop teams while managing competing priorities across multiple engagements.

 

Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success 

  • Senior leader with deep understanding of the health sector, ideally with operational performance enhancement, strategy, planning and digitally enabled healthcare and data driven transformation.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain senior relationships in health care or other large, complex stakeholder environments.
  • Confident leading front-facing executive conversations (C-suite, public sector leaders, Boards).
  • An agile, “driver” mindset—generates ideas and solutions, creates proposals, and then delivers programmes of work.
  • Proven experience leading delivery of large and/or complex programmes, working alongside multiple stakeholders to design and deliver change.
  • Strong people leader with experience leading teams and balancing competing priorities.
