We have an opportunity for a Consultant to join our Technology Assurance team in Wellington, New Zealand to support the delivery of external IT Audits. This position provides an opportunity to progress your career in a growing team and develop your technical skills in an inclusive and supportive environment. Our clients come from a wide range of industries, and we work with them to build trust and confidence.

 

As our Consultant you will:

 

  • Support the execution of audits/assessments of IT processes against leading practice IT risk and security frameworks and common standards (e.g. CoBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, Sarbanes Oxley Act)
  • Support Assurance/Audit engagements - including the execution of evaluating and design of IT controls (e.g. application & IT general controls) in support of external audits as well as Program Assurance engagements.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for clients and other stakeholders.
  • Work with the team to develop client relationships to achieve service expectations, deliverables and outcomes.
  • Work with the team to provide client deliverables on time and to the standard expected by the client and engagement partner/principal. 
  • Work effectively across multiple internal and external teams, building your professional network across the service line and with clients.

  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree qualification in IT or related discipline, although finance, business or accounting qualifications will also be considered.
  • Experience working on Audit engagements such as diverse IT Audits, IT General Controls, SOC1, SOC2, SOC3, SOX, GS007 or ASAE Audits.
  • Good report writing capability.

 

  
Ideally, you’ll also have  

 

  • Professional accreditations and qualifications will also be considered favourably (CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP).
  • A passion for emerging technologies and working within a team to deliver value to clients on how to manage IT risks and accelerate performance.  
  • The ability to use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.

We have 1 Consultant position available. The salary range for this role is expected to be NZD 69,500 to NZD 75,000 dependent on skills and experience. This full-time role is for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
