As our Associate Partner in SAP Technology Consulting within EY’s New Zealand Consulting practice, you’ll shape and drive SAP-related market growth, with a primary emphasis on sales, origination, and pre sales leadership.
The AP strengthens EY’s go to market presence, builds trusted client relationships, and ensures the successful positioning and oversight of strategic SAP programmes. While the role is predominantly market facing, it also provides sponsorship and quality oversight for key engagements to ensure EY delivers exceptional client outcomes.
This position is based in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington office. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
- Own our NZ pre-sales for SAP-led transformation deals, including RISE with SAP, S/4HANA, and cloud-enabled architectures
- Lead opportunity qualification, win strategy, and solution shaping in partnership with Client executive, Alliance leads, account partners, pursuit leaders, and delivery leads
- Orchestrate and deliver C suite level value propositions, tailored demos, and storytelling that link SAP capabilities to client business outcomes
- Guide and challenge discovery, requirements definition, and high-level solution design, including integration into broader technology estates
- Oversee creation of bid responses, proposals, SoWs, estimates, and RFP/RFI responses, ensuring commercial robustness and delivery feasibility
- Build and maintain senior relationships with SAP, hyperscalers, and other alliance partners to shape joint go to market and pipeline
Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA (Cloud ERP), RISE with SAP, cloud deployment models, and integration with non-SAP systems
- Experience engaging at C-Suite level, shaping business cases, and articulating value aligned to client strategy and industry trends
- Ability to lead cross functional pursuit teams and manage multiple complex opportunities in parallel

- Mentor and develop presales and solution architecture teams, providing quality assurance on proposals, presentations, and solution designs
- Contribute to practice strategy, offerings, and thought leadership across target industries and SAP solution areas
- Contribute the build our of the NZ Partnership SAP practice
- Achieve agreed sales, margin, and pipeline targets and contribute to overall practice profitability
