As an AI and Data Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients with design and execution of high-impact projects. You will work directly with clients to understand their business needs, design and implement advanced analytics models, and develop AI solutions that help organisations protect and unlock value from their data.
- Apply technical and consulting skills to help our Government and Public Sector clients achieve better outcomes through the safe and responsible use of data.
- Lead and support project teams, and stakeholders, contributing to the successful delivery of complex initiatives.
- Build and enhance data pipelines and storage for clean, accurate, and efficient data where required.
- Design Zero Trust, data-centric security into solutions to protect information throughout its lifecycle.
- Apply sound practices in data engineering and governance to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data and AI, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our service offerings.
In line with client requirements, you will need to be based, or willing to relocate to Wellington.
Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options

- Manage delivery of AI and Data projects from inception to completion, consistently ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored AI and data solutions that drive value and achieve strategic objectives.
- A solid understanding of cybersecurity, data strategy, data governance, and AI.
- A solid understanding and practical use with SQL and an understanding of tools and platforms such as Python, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Power BI.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- An ability and experience in communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Hold a degree in one of or a similar field; Data Science, Computer Science, or Statistics.
