Test Manager
Location: Warsaw - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity
You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals working for international clients. By cooperating closely with software designers, developers, testers and other specialists you will be able to develop your technical software testing skills and build a better working world.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end test management (SIT, UAT, Integration, Regression) ensuring high-quality delivery across complex platforms
- Define, implement, and maintain test strategies, test plans, and execution frameworks aligned with business and regulatory requirements
- Manage testing teams (including distributed teams), allocate resources and oversee day-to-day execution activities
- Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases and defects (RTM ownership)
- Drive defect lifecycle management, including triage, prioritization, root cause analysis, and closure in tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps or HP ALM
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage completeness
- Oversee test data preparation and environment coordination, ensuring readiness for all testing phases
- Produce and present test status reports, metrics and quality insights to stakeholders and leadership (daily, weekly, test closure)
- Support process improvements, automation initiatives and quality governance practices across projects
- Ensure testing aligns with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models, applying best practices to optimize efficiency

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Proven experience in Test Management / Test Lead roles within complex enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing, with full lifecycle ownership
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC, including test strategy creation and execution governance
- Hands-on experience in test design (test scenarios, test cases, test data preparation)
- Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM or similar
- Strong experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, including working with global teams
- Practical experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including defect analysis and root cause identification
- Domain expertise in banking/payments systems (e.g., SWIFT, ISO 20022, SEPA or similar financial systems)
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2+), enabling effective collaboration in international environments
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in leading testing for payment transformation or core banking systems
- Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, BDD/Cucumber) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Certifications such as ISTQB, Agile/Scrum Master or equivalent
- Experience in regulatory or compliance-driven environments (e.g., financial services)
- Familiarity with process optimization, quality governance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to contribute to pre-sales activities, estimations, or team capability development
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data validation techniques
