Location: Warsaw / Wrocław
Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote

The opportunity
As a Senior WAM Business Analyst you will work as a team/team lead in one of the projects for International Customer. You will be responsible for managing and delivering innovative solutions to the clients from Wealth & Asset Management sector, focusing on German market.
Your key responsibilities
- Liaise and manage key stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the successfully delivered solutions
- Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
- Organize and conduct workshops with the customer, collect business requirements
- Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
- Support for testing of created applications / systems
- Build a quality work culture
- Foster teamwork and lead by example
- Participate in the organization-wide people initiatives
- Travel to customers locations on need basis

Skills and attributes for success
- Strong knowledge of financial markets work, involved players and financial instruments’ use, structure, payment function, valuation etc.
- Hands-on experience with financial systems of Wealth & Asset Management: BlackRock Aladdin, SimCorp, Bloomberg, MultiFonds eFront, Investran
- Ability to gather business requirements (product settings, workflows, accounting rules, etc.) from our customers and translate these into personalized configuration and setup
- Very good knowledge of English & German language
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Front-to-back process experience within Asset/ Wealth Managers: Portfolio Management, MO (Risk, Settlements), BO (Funds Admin, Reporting) and project topics: gap & process analysis, process optimization, business reengineering, STP (straight-through-processing)
- Proven experience in business analysis & project management tools and techniques, preferably in the wealth and asset management industry
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Good experience in design, development, and test of systems/ interfaces (mappings) between external providers and financial systems (e.g. Market data, exchanges) as well as from trading systems to legacy systems (e.g. accounting)
- Understand high-level business requirements and relate them to appropriate platform capabilities
- Review client processes and workflows and make recommendations to the client to maximize benefits
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools, as well as technical experience of working with data, understanding relational data models, SQL queries
- Experience in any or more of Oracle, MS SQL, DB2 databases
- Advance excel and VBA skills
- Presentation skills
