Job description
As part of our Platform Team, we are looking for experienced professionals to join a big transformation project for a leading insurance company in the Middle East. This is a unique opportunity to participate in a large-scale program involving core insurance replacement, process redesign, and integration of modern digital insurance capabilities.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Leading and supporting business and system analysis across front, middle, and back-office processes, with focus on policy lifecycle and pricing
- Facilitating workshops with client stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with clients' strategic objectives
- Building strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and build trust
- Establishing best practices among fellow business analysts, including mentoring junior analysts
- Driving alignment between business needs and development teams working on complex platform implementations and process improvements
- Documenting business processes, functional specifications, and system requirements, as well as reviewing the documentation prepared by colleagues
- Defining integration interfaces and contributing to the design and testing of API and file-based integrations
- Participating in system configuration, UAT/SIT cycles, and cutover/dress rehearsal planning
- Collaborating with stakeholders across business and IT to ensure alignment and quality of deliverables
- Supporting regulatory and compliance-related activities as part of system implementation
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of the P&C insurance market and processes, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in core system implementation projects
- Extensive knowledge of insurance products and pricing
- Significant experience leading business analysts and managing people
- Strong ability to navigate a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and drive strategic alignment
- Proficiency in agile delivery methodologies; experience in the role of Scrum Master and/or Product Owner would be an asset
- Hands-on experience in the implementation of EIS Insurance Core System or comparable systems (Guidewire, Sapiens, etc.)
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and business modeling tools
- Understanding of integration architecture (APIs, messaging, file-based), especially in insurance ecosystems
- Fluency in English
- Academic degree in IT, Finance, or a related field
- Willingness to travel to Saudi Arabia for on-site project work for 50% of the time
