The opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our international development team as a Manager or Senior Manager. In this role, you will support experts globally to maintain a pipeline with high data quality, ensuring experts have the required information to pursue opportunities effectively and to manage Long Term Agreement, enabling leverage of them across the network of EY. The pipeline and long term agreements support international and multilateral organizations across Europe, Middle East, India and Africa. You will play a crucial role in the success of a team that has ambitions to become a core provider of consulting services to international development organizations, including the United Nations, at large.
Your key responsibilities
• Support the EY International Development team to ensure all opportunities and relevant data required for reporting on the pipeline are captured in the Pipeline maintained in Sharepoint.
• Manage the resource responsible for capturing and circulating all opportunities globally each day.
• Perform regular data quality reviews of the pipeline to ensure effective data capture across different sources to enable complete and accurate reporting.
• Run the twice weekly pipeline calls to review all opportunities with the EY network globally.
• Be the first point of contact for individuals across the network to provide guidance on building UN and similar proposals and generally pursuing opportunities in International Development.
• Be the first point of contact for providing advice on contracting with UN organizations (process for amending terms and conditions or getting them accepted).
• Manage the Long Term Agreement Library ensuring this is up to date with all relevant documents – for new agreements and updates to agreements.
• Monitor the Long-Term Agreements to ensure expiring contracts are identified and extensions requested.
• Track usage of Long Term Agreements
• Work with the network to advertise and enable usage of Long Term Agreements with clients
• Be the first point of contact for use of Long Term Agreements.
• Support staffing on jobs – leading the weekly staffing calls; ensuring chargeability across the team and allocation of BD
• Tracking of KPIs: Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the UN GCSP, where they are coming from and ensuring reviews. Provide regular updates and reports on progress towards goals for Leadership Team.
• Tracking of team requested investments and oversight of payment
• Oversight of team compliance with training and compliance requirements
• Oversight of engagement codes and compliance (e.g. PACE, contracting, uploading of contracts to GEAR, ensuring no overruns, ensuring invoicing is done)
• Support the team in monitoring and evaluating project performance, collecting feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Project manage bi-annual account planning and monitoring
Skills and attributes for success
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in business administration or a related field. Financial background/experience is a plus. Exposure to international politics / field-based organizations an advantage.
• 7-10 years prior experience working in an account management or pipeline role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent excel skills is a requirement.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated project management experience and ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in diverse and cross-functional teams, building relationships with colleagues
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing client needs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Critically - demonstrated passion for international development and a commitment to making a positive and tangible impact.
• Preferred: Experience working with NGOs, global health institutions, healthcare/private sector, government or public sector.
