An essential function under EY Business Enablement, Supply Chain Services (SCS), is a global team with more than 600 professionals in over 35 countries supporting the EY organization around the globe. This structure enables knowledge-sharing across categories and regions, streamlining efforts in identifying innovative suppliers that deliver value and support EY's business objectives.

 

A key component of SCS is Global Procurement, whose purpose is to drive greater synergies and value creation across sourcing, supplier management and contract lifecycle management.

 

As a member of the Talent Procurement Team, you will partner with Talent leaders and stakeholders globally to develop and execute sourcing strategies across Talent-related categories. You will play a critical role in increasing spend under management, driving category maturity, delivering commercial value and strengthening supplier partnerships across the regions.

 

The role acts as a trusted procurement advisor to Talent stakeholders and is accountable for developing category strategies, expanding visibility and control of Talent spend, delivering sourcing initiatives and maturing procurement practices across the Talent category portfolio.

 

Job Summary

As a Talent Procurement CESA (Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe and Central Asia) Leader, you will have the opportunity to work with a professional team of procurement experts in a global environment and collaborate on interesting sourcing projects across the Super Regions, mostly across Europe Central, which also includes Nordics Countries. Developing our people is key to delivering quality to our internal and external clients and aligns perfectly with our purpose of building a better working world. The reporting line will be direct to the Europe Central Talent Leader. The holder of the role will be responsible for procurement strategy, sourcing execution, and senior stakeholder engagement on a Partner/Director level for selected programs/projects across the Talent portfolio as described below.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted business advisor to EY Talent stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement and continuously enhance Talent category strategies.
  • Increase procurement visibility and management of Talent-related spend.
  • Assess, analyze and manage Talent category spend across regions.
  • Drive category maturity through governance, supplier management and sourcing best practices.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities and negotiations.
  • Deliver procurement performance targets covering savings, spend under management and speed to market.
  • Lead supplier relationship management activities.
  • Develop category reporting, spend analytics and market insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement across Talent procurement processes.

 

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Strong strategic procurement and category management experience within Talent, HR or Professional Services categories.
  • Proven ability to analyze spend data and increase spend under management.
  • Experience maturing procurement categories.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

 

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

  • Minimum 7+ years of procurement experience.
  • Experience within Talent, Human Resources, Workforce, Recruitment or Learning & Development categories.
  • Experience developing and executing regional or global category strategies.
  • Proven ability to analyze spend and identify opportunities.
  • Fluent verbal and written English.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and procurement reporting experience.

 

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance or related field.
  • CPSM, CIPS or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in a global, culturally diverse organization.
  • Additional language capabilities beyond English would be highly advantageous, particularly Greek, Polish or Turkish.
