Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote

The opportunity
As a Broadridge ETL Specialist, you will participate in various streams of data conversion and migration projects, collaborate with agile team members to achieve project and client goals, and be a part of business transformations. We are looking for passionate developers willing to move our projects on a new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries. As a part of our global team, you will participate in international projects based on the latest data technologies and cloud platforms. Additionally, you will play a significant role in building and expanding our competency, working together with international teams on sales, business development, and hiring opportunities.
Your key responsibilities
- ETL Development: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes for data conversion and migration projects using Broadridge tools and technologies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze source data to understand its structure, content, and quality. Identify data discrepancies and work on data cleansing and transformation.
- Data Mapping: Create detailed data mapping documents to define the transformation rules and data flow from source to target systems.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data mappings, and migration procedures. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful data migration.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all ETL processes comply with data security and privacy regulations. Implement data masking and encryption techniques as needed.
- Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ETL processes post-migration. Address any issues or enhancements required by the business.
Skills and attributes for success
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ETL development, data conversion, and migration projects, preferably within the financial services industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Broadridge tools and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar.
- Experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in ETL, data management, or Broadridge systems are a plus.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Experience with Broadridge-specific data migration projects.
- Knowledge of financial services industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with cloud-based ETL solutions and data migration to cloud platforms.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Certificates proving certain skills: ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend), SQL, data management, Broadridge systems.
- Business certificates proving financial services industry knowledge and experience.
- Good understanding and experience in agile/scrum methodology.
- Experience in client-facing roles.
- Additional language skills (nice to have): German, French, or Spanish.
