The opportunity
Assistant Manager position provides technical and functional support for all functions within GDS Consulting Operations. Responsible for analytics, forecasting of resources and involved in all types of operational work across the company. Person hired for this role will have an opportunity to learn how operation department in a consultancy business works and how it is being set up.
Your key responsibilities
- Support Business in delivering operational, learning and compliance KPIs
- Recommend changes, drive process improvements and automations that produce added value for the stakeholders
- Perform regular analysis of budgets, actual & forecasted results, productivity & utilization, as well as ad hoc analysis of addressed or identified business needs
- Support business in budgeting process by creating Market Leadership Plan of headcount development strategy and their expected utilization targets
- Act as a business advisor to consulting client facing teams and leadership by providing timely reports, presentations, dashboards and insights
- Liaise with other departments within our delivery centre (HR, Recruitment, Finance, Experience Management, Procurement) in order to clarify exceptions, improve processes and solve challenges
- Prepare reports and perform quality review of reports generated
- Ensure the process documentation is done and archived
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Strong analytical skills - detail oriented
- 6+ years of working experience
- Very good English communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficient at negotiation skills and conflict management
- Strong client service focus - responsive to requests maintains a sense of urgency in resolving issues
- Flexible in adapting to constantly changing priorities
- Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
