The opportunity

The Mobility Assignment Services Specialist supports the delivery of international assignments by coordinating key activities across the assignment  lifecycle. This includes helping to ensure compliance with policies, supporting  the assignee experience, and contributing to efficient operations.   

 

The Specialist works closely with stakeholders to apply Mobility policies, maintain accurate data in the GMT system, and support  the coordination of services between Talent, Finance, and other CBS functions. They also assist in monitoring vendor performance and escalating issues when  needed. 

 

Purpose of the Job: 

  • Management of in-bound and out-bound assignments, including  pre-assignment, on-assignment, repatriation, and post-assignment activities. 
  • Apply Mobility policies to help determine appropriate assignment types and  relocation packages.
  • Coordinate with home and host Mobility teams to ensure smooth execution of assignment processes.
  • Preparation, amendment and finalization of cost estimates.
  • Preparation of Global Assignments Letters, local contracts where applicable and country specific addendums.
  • Maintain assignment data in GMT, ensuring updates are timely and accurate.
  • Support stakeholders by providing information and guidance on Mobility processes and timelines. 
  • Monitor vendor service delivery.
  • Communicate regularly with assignees to support their understanding of key steps and requirements. 
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements by sharing observations and suggestions. 

 

Supervision Responsibilities: 

This role may have interaction with dedicated VTH resources that support the Super Region. 

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements: 

  • Understanding of international Mobility processes and policies. 
  • Familiarity with HR concepts such as onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. 
  • Awareness of tax and immigration considerations related to international assignments. 
  • Solid level of business acumen, knowledge of EY’s All in business strategy and priorities and the firm-wide talent agenda 
  • Good understanding of how EY operates, the organization structure and culture in order to deliver exceptional assignment services and to achieve  intended talent outcomes for business and assignees 
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across regions. 

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Ability to forge good relationships and networks internally to aid effective operational excellence 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced  environment. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
  • Willingness to work flexibly due to the global nature of the role, including the requirement to work alternative hours as required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in German

 

Education 

Educated to degree level in a related discipline is preferred, not required.

 

Experience: 

Good experience in Mobility, HR operations, or related field. 

 

Certification Requirements 

Work towards higher professional qualification in a related discipline is highly regarded
