The opportunity
EY’s Health Consulting practice provides comprehensive performance improvement solutions to government, public and private health care organizations across Canada. Our Digital Health team is at the forefront of healthcare transformation, leveraging cutting-edge technology and strategic insight to help healthcare organizations navigate the evolving digital landscape. Our team delivers impactful solutions across a range of digital health domains, including digital strategy development, implementation of digital operating models, technology and digital transformation (including EHR/EMRs, automation, virtual health, and analytics, and the application of artificial intelligence and data analytics to improve clinical and operational outcomes across the Canadian System. Our Health practice works closely and collaborates with our Government and Public Sector and Life Science practices.

EY’s Health Consulting practice is seeking a highly motivated team player with a strong work ethic and excellent consulting skills for the role of Senior Consultant – Digital Health within our Technology Strategy & Transformation competency to pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare through digital innovation.
Your key responsibilities
- Participate in key Digital Health workstreams or engagements, driving the completion of specific workstreams or deliverables.
- Provide insightful and impactful solutions to complex client issues, leveraging analytical approaches, established methodologies and critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital health solutions into broader transformation initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen client relationships through the delivery of excellent service.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal coordination and development.
- Keep abreast of current Digital Health trends and issues directly relevant to the business of current and potential clients.
- Participate in the development of Digital Health thought leadership.
- Foster an innovative, inclusive and team-oriented work environment.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor or master’s degree in business, health administration, technology, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and supporting digital health strategies within healthcare settings.
- Experience with projects in innovation, market assessments and transformation would be nice to have.
- In-depth knowledge of EMR/HIS systems, including implementation and configuration best practices would be nice to have
- Advanced problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability, including the ability to structure and plan workstreams to address bespoke and custom client needs.
- Strong command of technical applications and tools to support complex analysis.
- Experience synthesizing research and analysis into structured and logical recommendations.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in a consulting environment.
- Excellent communication skills and writing ability.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $88,000 to $132,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
