We are seeking a Senior Consultant for our Workforce Advisory (WFA) group within our People Consulting practice. Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery
- Support delivery of solutions across EY’s Workforce Advisory service offerings, including operating model design, organization design, change management, learning and development, leadership development, culture transformation and DEI, strategic workforce planning, HR transactions and talent assessments and strategies, ensuring high-quality outcomes within expected timeframes.
- Lead self and/or junior team members to develop high-quality deliverables, demonstrating critical thinking, storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to convey key messages effectively to various audiences (including executives) through slideshow presentations and other collaboration tools (e.g. Miro).
- Drive project management activities for the engagement team, ensuring that meetings are scheduled, meeting minutes captured, and actions tracked.
- Write clear, effective communications tailored to the client/audience with support from project lead.
- Build strong relationships with client, project team and internal EY team.
Business Development
- Lead development of proposal sections, tailoring language and services to the client context.
- Proactively support on-selling, through excellent delivery, on-going relationships with clients and shaping next steps or future work.
- Support with generating new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service offerings and contributing to on-sell and expansion conversations.
Practice Development
- Support and contribute to practice and service offering development efforts and/or initiatives with guidance and mentorship from more senior team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to balance project delivery with contributions to practice development and service offering efforts.
- Bring relevant learnings to team conversations, ensuring innovation and leading practice are at the forefront of our solutions.
- Understand the WFA practice strategy and its integration with EY’s broader operating model.
People Leadership and Teaming
- Actively contribute to a positive team culture, leading by example and fostering collaboration and open communication.
- Work collaboratively with WFA team and other EY service lines.
- Engage in learning activities throughout the year, ensuring minimum learning requirements are met and learning goals achieved.
- Seek feedback from more junior team members, peers, and above for self-improvement and skills enhancement and act on development feedback to improve performance.
- Engage in mentorship activities - providing constructive feedback to peers and junior staff, aiding in their professional development and sharing expertise / experiences with team members.
Technical skills for success:
- Basic knowledge and familiarity of one of our WFA offerings, including change management, operating model design, organization design, learning and development, culture transformation and DEI, strategic workforce planning, and talent optimization.
- Strong ability to use Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project) to create documents, analyze data, develop presentations, and manage communications effectively. Proficient with other tools such as Power BI, and Smartsheet.
- Proficient in analyzing data and using visualization tools to present insights and support decision-making.
Leadership & business skills for success:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills; can manage multiple competing deadlines and multi-task across project delivery, business development, practice development and leadership/teaming.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with ability to facilitate sessions and have a high level of emotional intelligence.

- This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally where fluency in English is required.
Flexibility and ability to travel.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A bachelor's degree and approximately 3-5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 2-4 years of related work experience.
- Preferably, professional service experience, with a global management consultancy firm, or niche consultancy in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s).
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Change Management, Organizational Design, Organizational/ Operating Model Design, Culture Change & DEI, Workforce. Planning, Talent Strategy.
- Project management experience
- A primary degree and relevant post-graduate qualification (preferred).
- PROSCI or other industry standard Change Management Certification considered an asset.
- The willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $88,000 to $132,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
