SAP GRC-Authorization Senior TechOps (Application Management) Consultant
The Opportunity
We are looking for an SAP GRC-Authorization Senior Consultant to join the EY GDS – SAP TechOps Team. As part of our EY GDS – TechOps team, you will be responsible for ensuring adequate access controls, user/role management business operates within regulatory guidelines while proactively managing potential risk in SAP systems across various regions for our global clients. Your expertise in SAP’s suite of GRC tools helps organizations streamline their compliance processes, safeguarding against financial and reputational damage
You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to address issues and implement enhancements to meet business requirements.

To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP Authorization/Security.
- Minimum of 3 year working experience in SAP Authorization with focus on Level 2 support
- Working experience on Checking Risks and mitigation control.
- Should have knowledge of all type of Access request and risk analysis
- Maintain workflow configuration Design, MSMP and maintain rules to identify risk conditions.
- Strong experience in User Management, Role Management, Audit report analysis, Trace analysis troubleshooting authorization issues
- Strong Experience in Creating and maintaining SAP security roles that align with business needs, ensuring strict adherence to the authorization principle.
- Strong understanding of SAP Security principles and concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a global setting with multi-regional teams, understanding cultural nuances and time zone differences and across shifts
- Flexibility in managing work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management work including ability to do shifts and being on call for critical business requirements
What you will do:
- Provide day to day Application Management support for SAP Applications across IT Service Management including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests as Level 2 Application Management Specialist
- Provide level 2 support for SAP Authorization Activities including User Management, Role assignments, Creation of and maintenance of SAP security roles
- Analize the Authorization audit report and take and identify necessary action plan
- Troubleshoot authorization issues and implement solutions to ensure strict adherence of authorization principles
- Perform Routine tasks such as user management, role management and preparation of audit reports
- Provide technical expertise during internal and external audits, demonstrating compliance with regulations such as SOX, GDPR, and others.
- Document procedures, configurations, and changes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Keeping abreast of the latest GRC trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in SAP’s GRC technology
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide off hours support as needed to ensure the availability and reliability of critical SAP systems.
- Available to work on shift hours depending on the requirement of the client
