SAP PMO Staff TechOps (Application Management) Consultant
The Opportunity
We are looking for an Staff level Consultant for Project Management Office to join the EY GDS – SAP TechOps Team. As part of our EY GDS – TechOps team, you will be tasked with managing and overseeing SAP support engagements, ensuring they are monitored for quality/on time delivery/SLA Governance. This role requires SAP knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in project management, preferably with SAP engagement
- Minimum of 1 year working experience in SAP
- Good understanding of SAP modules and functionalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a global setting with multi-regional teams, understanding cultural nuances and time zone differences and across shifts
- Flexibility in managing work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management work including ability to do shifts and being on call for critical business requirements
What you will do:
- Oversee and manage SAP project portfolios
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project alignment
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
- Implement project management best practices and methodologies
- Prepare and publish Resource Roasters for Shared Service and allocate resources based on project shifts. Track their shift allocations on weekly basis.
- Work with project leads and service delivery lead for intaking new engagements in shared services,
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance report for the team and management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SAP standards
