SAP PMO-Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced SAP PMO, Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP initiatives, ensuring that they meet the strategic objectives of the organization. You will also be responsible for governance, project methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful project outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement PMO processes, tools, and policies to standardize project management practices.
- Oversee the portfolio of SAP projects, ensuring proper resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Lead project planning sessions and provide guidance to project managers and teams on SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Monitor and report on the progress of SAP projects, including risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure that SAP projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting quality standards.
- Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, including business units, IT, and external vendors.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and team members.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Serve as a liaison between the executive team and project managers, ensuring strategic alignment and clear communication.
Experience:
- 8-11 years of relevant experience in SAP PMO.
- Successfully completed at least three end-to-end implementations.
- Proven experience in managing an SAP PMO or leading complex SAP projects.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile), and best practices.
- Experience of having worked in a client facing delivery role.
- Experience in working in client-facing delivery roles, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
Competencies / Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and understanding of SAP modules and landscapes.
- Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with project management software and collaboration tools.
- Strong customer handling skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide mentorship to team members.
- Excellent communication skills for translating functional requirements into design documents.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, while independently driving key deliverables.
Education:
- Graduate from a reputed educational institution.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
- Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for client site work (domestic and international).
