We are seeking an experienced XDR Consultant / Engineer with strong hands on expertise in XDR consulting, deployment, migration, and administration. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with Microsoft Defender XDR (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for O365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Cloud) and CrowdStrike XDR, and will be comfortable engaging directly with customers, leading discussions, and delivering secure, scalable XDR solutions. Experience with other XDR platforms or security tools (beyond Microsoft Defender XDR and CrowdStrike XDR). would be added advantage.

This role requires a blend of technical depth, consulting mindset, and excellent communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers to understand security requirements, current state architecture, and business objectives.
  • Provide XDR consulting and advisory services, including tool selection, architecture recommendations, and best practice guidance.
  • Design end to end XDR solutions aligned with customer environments, security maturity, and operational needs
  • Lead and execute deployment of XDR platforms, including onboarding endpoints, identities, email, cloud workloads, and integrations.
  • Configure XDR policies, controls, and baselines to ensure optimal security coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Validate deployments through testing, pilot rollouts, and production cutovers.
  • Plan and execute migration from legacy security tools or EDR solutions to XDR platforms.
  • Perform migration activities such as agent replacement, policy mapping, validation, and post migration stabilization.
  • Support parallel runs, service readiness validation, and transition to steady state operations.
  • Perform day to day administration of XDR platforms
  • Ensure XDR environments are stable, compliant, and audit ready.
  • Act as a primary technical point of contact for customers.
  • Lead technical discussions, workshops, reviews, and status calls with customer stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non technical audiences.
  • Prepare and deliver documentation, reports, and presentations for customers.

 

For XDR Manager we can add a requirement for having total 8+ years of relevant experience and at-least a year of experience in consulting.
