Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

About the Role:

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is seeking a Senior AI Engineering Architect to serve as a technology leader driving enterprise-scale AI strategy, architecture decisions, and innovation across global client engagements. This role is central to shaping how AI engineering capabilities are built, scaled, and adopted across application security and offensive security domains.

As a senior technologist, you will lead front-end client conversations, define enterprise-level AI architecture standards, and guide organizations in solving complex real-world problems using advanced AI capabilities. While primarily focused on architecture and technology leadership, you will remain hands-on when required to prototype solutions, validate emerging approaches, and solve complex technical challenges.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of deep technical expertise, architectural vision, and the ability to champion evolving AI technologies while driving adoption across large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and evolve enterprise-level AI reference architectures, frameworks, and engineering standards.
• Approve and guide key architecture decisions across multiple programs and client engagements.
• Lead executive-level client discussions, architecture workshops, and strategic solutioning initiatives.
• Shape and drive AI engineering capability development across application security and VAPT domains.
• Champion adoption of emerging AI technologies, including advanced LLM patterns, multi-agent systems, and frontier AI capabilities.
• Drive innovation through creation of POCs, labs, reusable accelerators, and platform assets.
• Define and scale enterprise AI platforms, reusable accelerators, and engineering ecosystems across engagements.
• Establish governance models for AI engineering, including evaluation frameworks, performance standards, and responsible AI practices.
• Guide teams on advanced AI implementation approaches, including fine-tuning strategies, optimization techniques, and system-level design.
• Lead and mentor architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Provide strategic oversight for complex programs, ensuring alignment with architectural vision and business objectives.
• Contribute to go-to-market initiatives, practice-level AI propositions, and thought leadership assets.
• Represent EY in client forums, innovation discussions, and external thought leadership engagements.

Cyber Experience (Any One Preferred):

Application Security:

• Enterprise-scale secure AI architecture strategy and DevSecOps integration for AI systems
• Convergence of AI with secure SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, API security, identity, and cloud-native security controls

Offensive Security:

• AI-driven threat modeling, adversarial evaluation strategies, and red teaming frameworks
• Convergence of AI with VAPT methodologies, attack simulations, and emerging AI threat landscapes

Technical Skills and Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in Python with ability to prototype complex AI solutions when required
• Deep expertise in AI/LLM tools such as OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Gemini, or similar
• Advanced knowledge of AI frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalents
• Strong understanding of AI architecture patterns: RAG, agentic systems, multi-agent orchestration, and scalable pipelines
• Cloud platforms: Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP with architecture-level expertise
• AI platforms: Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, Vertex AI, or similar
• Vector databases and retrieval systems: Pinecone, FAISS, Azure AI Search, Weaviate, or equivalents
• Observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks for AI systems
• DevOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in AI engineering, architecture, or advanced technology consulting
• Proven experience leading complex AI transformation and architecture initiatives
• Strong track record of driving innovation and technology adoption
• Relevant certifications (preferred):
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect / AI Engineer
• AWS Solutions Architect / Machine Learning Specialty
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional
