Emerging Tech Technical Lead (AWS)

To qualify for the role, you must have

Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor/master’s degree in, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field with strong quantitative focus.

• 6+ years of working experience with particular focus on the following:

Cloud & Platform Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions)
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture principles

Programming

• Proficiency in:
  • Python
  • Node.js(Preferred)
• Experience building RESTful / event-driven APIs and backend services

Event-Driven Architecture

• Experience with:
  • Kafka
  • Kafka alternatives (e.g., AWS EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Azure Event Hub, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns in distributed ecosystem

Containers & Orchestration

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes (EKS/AKS)

Full Stack Development

• Experience building end-to-end applications, including:
  • Backend services
  • API design
  • Integration layers

Model Lifecycle & Orchestration

• • Deploy, fine-tune, and orchestrate foundation models and LLMs using services like Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock. Design agentic workflows and multi-step AI processes
• Experience building end-to-end applications, including:
  • Backend services
  • API design
  • Integration layers

Performance Optimization

• Proven experience in:
  • Application performance tuning
  • Load handling and scalability improvements
  • Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in distributed systems

Good to have

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (practical exposure, not purely DevOps-focused)
• Knowledge of observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing)
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud applications
• Exposure to frontend frameworks like React JS is a plus (but not mandatory)

SoftSkills

• Strong communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in English for both technical and business audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work under tight timelines for multiple project deliveries.
• Ability/flexibility to travel and work abroad for international projects.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Design and build scalable, resilient cloud-native applications using AWS/Azure services
• Develop and maintain end-to-end full stack solutions (backend, APIs, integrations, and cloud services)
• Implement event-driven systems using Kafka and related messaging/event streaming technologies
• Build and manage microservices using containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms
• Develop serverless applications using:
  • AWS Lambda, Step Functions
  • Node JS /Python
• Work with container platforms:
  • AWS EKS / ECS
  • AWS Bedrock and Integration with AI Models
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability through optimization, monitoring, and tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
