As a Technical Lead or a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. This role combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with solution leadership, team mentorship, and strong client engagement within a consulting environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead design of ETL, APIs, and Lambda/Kafka solutions.
- Validate stories from BSA.
- Validate integration approaches for SOAP services.
- Own architecture and technical quality.
- Drive technical design decisions, balancing business requirements, system constraints, and long-term sustainability.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards for security, performance, and reliability.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery across the SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Provide hands-on contributions to critical components across frontend and backend as needed.
- Drive engineering best practices, including code quality, testing strategies, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, backend, DevOps, and business stakeholders) in Agile environments.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering technical growth and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Engage directly with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions and act as the primary technical interface between client stakeholders and the delivery team.
Must Have:
- 7+ years development experience.
- Strong AWS and Kafka experience.
- Experience with REST and SOAP integrations.
- Proficiency in Java/Python/Node.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Prior experience in technology consulting or client-facing solution delivery roles.
- Experience contributing to or owning solution architecture and design decisions.
- Understanding of API gateways and service mesh architectures.
- Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
- Awareness of AI and Generative AI capabilities, with the ability to leverage AI-driven tools to improve engineering productivity and delivery outcomes.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
- Senior Consultants for Vancouver & Toronto : $88,000 to $130,000
- Senior Consultants for Victoria : $80,000 to $120,000
- Managers for Vancouver & Toronto : $110,000 to $ 160,000
- Managers for Victoria: $99,000 to $149,000
