Your key responsibilities
As a senior manager, you will advise clients and the team with professionals in client information, data and technology, and / or strategic alliances with third parties to achieve strategic transformations and digital implementations major. You will lead the delivery of large-scale, multi-year customer engagements, build customer relationships and lead team development. This will include generating new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to internal and external clients.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Experience and appetite for learning. We’re looking for individuals with relevant experience or education in technology, engineering, solution architecture, financial services, or other related fields.
- Typically, successful candidates have 8+ years of experience delivering projects through strategy, design, build, test, and delivery.
- At least 5 years’ experience working in Consulting, ideally in the Financial Services and Banking sectors.
- Strong understanding of credit union or small to medium financial institution operations, regulatory requirements, and industry challenges.
- Experience managing engagements from an internal perspective (strong understanding of engagement commercials and deal structuring).
- Experience in Enterprise Technology modernization including areas such as Digital Banking and Core modernization, Technology Transformation strategy, planning, and delivery.
- Understanding of complex ecosystems including areas such integration architecture, data architecture, and to a lesser extent and understanding of infrastructure architecture.
- Manage offshore teams and inclusive collaboration.
- Ability to manage the integrated roadmap across different squads, track delivery at a detailed level against timelines, and manage dependencies to prevent delays.
- Strong experiential knowledge in Delivery Governance.
- Ability to work with clients at all levels from executive to delivery teams.
- Experience working with third party solution providers and sub-contractors, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- On-site work with clients could be required including some travel outside of Ontario.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience/Knowledge of:
- Business and IT architecture
- The following technologies and their purpose is useful but not required (e.g., Kubernetes, API Gateways, App Services, event streaming technologies, alerting an monitoring tools, etc.)
- Agile and other project management methodologies
