Senior Consultant and Manager - Machine Learning Engineer

Skills and attributes for Success

To qualify for the role you must have:

• 3 - 8 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer
• Deep understanding of Machine Learning principles, including algorithms such as SVM, logistic regression, and decision trees.
• Mastery of coding languages, particularly Python or Java. Proficiency in SQL, with familiarity in REST APIs and ipynb tools.
• Competency in ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Apache MXNet, sklearn, and data science libraries like pandas and numpy.
• Industry experience (>2 years) in AI/ML projects applied to diverse business use-cases, especially in credit risk modeling, banking, and insurance.
• Solid foundation in system architecture, especially in building and scaling cloud-based solutions and developing end-to-end ML systems.
• Proficiency with version control software (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket), and experience deploying ML models to production.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, along with team management skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience in specialized ML fields such as Generative AI, NLP, Image Processing, and Computer Vision.
• Expertise with cloud platforms, scientific computation software, and machine learning platforms (MATLAB, Octave, MLFlow).
• Experience leading technical teams, designing solution architectures, and effectively communicating complex ideas to clients/stakeholders.
• Certifications in relevant areas such as AzureML or Databricks are highly encouraged to apply.
• Open-source contributions and personal GitHub repositories are viewed favorably.

What we look for:

• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities, with experience selling to clients and handling RFPs.
• Strong leadership skills with prior experience in planning and executing resources for a project.
