AI and Data - Senior Consultant - AI/ML Engineer

The opportunity

Your key responsibilities

• Collaborate with our client stakeholders to understand use cases and key business processes that the AI solutions will support.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, architects, engineers to translate requirements in robust AI solutions integrating without client’s technology stack
• Continuously learn, experiment, and test new AI tools, platforms, technologies, and techniques.
• Create comprehensive test plans for AI-based applications, covering functional, performance, security, and ethical considerations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud-based AI services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 2+ years of experience developing AI/ML solutions, including at least 1 year of AI/ML testing experience.
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Experience working in agile development environments.
   

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks for AI systems, including bias testing, performance testing, and security testing.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and AI frameworks.
• Experience with testing tools such as DeepChecks, or similar AI-focused.
• Experience in API integration and development.
• This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally where fluency in French and English is required. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.

• Toronto: $88,000 to $132,000
