EY Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our growing Microsoft Dynamics 365 team. Our Microsoft solutions group extends from advisory and planning, design and architecture, implementation, training, business adoption. With our extensive network of industry experts working across four service lines, EY is uniquely positioned as a leader in helping our clients capitalize on increasing customer and data-centric digital transformation strategies.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

EY is looking for a Senior Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. This experienced consulting position will cover all phases of an ERP solution life cycle from initial planning and design through implementation and user adoption. Responsibilities of this position include the following:

  • Conduct client meetings to comprehend their supply chain processes and identify requirements.
  • Lead workshops and discussions to surface business and technical specifications for SCM.
  • Analyze client needs to design customized SCM solutions using Dynamics 365 SCM modules.
  • Formulate and present SCM solution concepts tailored to the client's specific use cases and goals.
  • Collaborate with industry experts to ensure the solutions align with sector-specific requirements.
  • Provide insights on Dynamics 365 SCM capabilities and constraints to guide client decisions.
  • Develop integrated solutions that merge smoothly with the client's existing systems and processes.
  • Configure Dynamics 365 SCM applications as per the project's unique demands.
  • Liaise with technical specialists to confirm technical feasibility and performance optimization.
  • Coordinate with developers for advanced customizations and integrations specific to SCM.
  • Align technical solutions with the business objectives and requirements.
  • Work with project managers to ensure the timely accomplishment of milestones.
  • Support in project planning, allocating resources, and managing risks.
  • Supervise the testing of SCM solutions to validate they meet client needs.
  • Lead test scenario development and coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Create and deliver training materials and sessions for SCM end-users.
  • Offer support during deployment to facilitate a smooth transition and adoption.
  • Manage the deployment of the SCM solution into the client's environment.
  • Aid in the transition to the new Dynamics 365 SCM system.
  • Stay abreast of updates in Dynamics 365 SCM.
  • Suggest and implement enhancements to client solutions.
  • Collaborate with other consultants and domain experts for holistic SCM solution development.


To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • 2-3 years of consulting experience, demonstrating effective deadline management.
  • A track record in configuring and delivering Dynamics 365 SCM solutions.
  • Involvement in leading SCM requirements workshops and training sessions.
  • Current Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 SCM and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated history of continuous learning to stay updated with Microsoft technologies and certifications.
  • English proficiency and exceptional communication abilities for client interactions and documentation.
  • Strong capability to analyze and understand complex SCM problems.
  • Data and process modeling skills using tools like Visio.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in configuring Dynamics 365 SCM to meet business needs.
  • Clear documentation of functional and user requirements.
  • Creation of detailed project documentation and training materials.
  • Experience working with technical teams and managing cross-functional stakeholder communication.
  • Client relationship management and the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 integration with other business systems.
  • Understanding of the broader Microsoft ecosystem, including Office 365 and Azure services.


Ideally you will also have:

  • Work experience in a professional services environment a definite asset
  • This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and professionals nationally and globally. Professional competency in the English language is therefore a requirement of this role. Bilingualism in both French and English is considered an asset.
