to join our dynamic marketing team as the Regional Markets Strategy & Growth Manager (internal rank of Assistant Director) in Toronto. This position lets you champion strategic growth initiatives, fortify client relationships, and amplify our brand recognition.

 

As a critical bridge between teams, you'll work closely with the Toronto leadership teams, building and executing transformative strategies that align with key objectives. In building strong relationships, you'll connect talents across sectors, service lines, and accounts, facilitating collaboration, optimizing synergies, and driving best practices.

Your key responsibilities:

 

People Engagement

  • Collaborate with the OMP to develop an ongoing plan for people engagement at the local office, focusing on effective communications and impactful events.
  • Take a leading role in suggesting strategies and implementing actions to engage our employees at the local office, fostering a positive work environment and supporting their professional development.
  • Make recommendations and implement strategies to engage and empower employees at the local office to further build an inclusive work environment where professional growth is supported.
  • Working closely with Brand, Marketing & Communication (BMC) team to manage the delivery of the annual people engagement plan.
     

Local Markets Strategy & Planning

  • Collaborate with Marketing members leading Sectors activations to activate strategies in the local market.
  • Lead the planning process, ensuring visibility to relevant Sector-based initiatives, and providing local input into national plans.
  • Directly collaborate with stakeholders across EY Canada to support an integrated growth strategy at a local level.
  • Foster collaboration with colleagues in Brand, Marketing, and Communications to strategize and execute powerful activations that drive account growth and foster meaningful relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Compile materials for leadership meetings, including financial data on sales, revenue, and margins, and tracking initiatives against the plan
  • Coordinating efforts for meetings, including preparing presenters, organizing materials, and ensuring alignment with topics and materials.
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis of account performance, working with different groups to gather data and identify areas of improvement or concern.


Local Activation Enablement

  • Collaborate with the internal events team, manage and deliver high-impact people engagement events and deliver client event experiences and market activations in multiple formats (in-person, virtual or hybrid) and in varying scales on-time and on-budget
  • Review sponsorships & events to ensure alignment with the business strategy to move them forward.
  • Ensure clarity around priorities and goals for the local office and OMP.
  • Manage and regularly report on budgets

 

Reporting Support for Informed Decision Making

  • Analyze revenue, sales, and pipeline data.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for corrective action
  • Track and compare BD/Marketing investment to budget
  • Oversee meetings with data-driven analysis
  • Drive modernization and innovation in reporting outputs
  • Leverage your analytical skills to enable better decision making, uncover opportunities, and optimize performance.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Graduate bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant business experience; ideally some professional services marketing experience.
  • Superior written and verbal executive storytelling capabilities.
  • Proven stakeholder and client management skills; comfortable working with, negotiating with and presenting to senior leaders.
  • Prior experience with process improvements, conflict resolution and transformation.
  • Strong communication (oral, written, visualization) skills.
  • Prior experience working in or with a Professional Services firm is a plus.
