Your key responsibilities

Drives Execution of CTO Priorities

  • Translates high‑level direction into clear plans, milestones, and ownership.
  • Tracks progress, manages dependencies, and resolves blockers.

Acts as a Trusted Proxy

  • Represents the Office of the CTO in working sessions and follow‑ups.
  • Exercises judgment on what can be handled independently vs. escalated.
  • Maintains momentum and continuity across initiatives.

Ensures Quality, Consistency, and Validation

  • Reviews outputs (decks, guidance, communications) for clarity, consistency, and quality.
  • Reinforces validation and governance expectations—particularly for AI‑enabled or data‑driven work.
  • Balances speed with defensibility and enterprise standards.

Aligns Stakeholders and Communicates Clearly

  • Coordinates across business, technology, risk, and enablement teams.
  • Synthesizes inputs into concise, executive‑ready updates.
  • Keeps leadership focused on decisions and outcomes, not noise.

Anticipates Risks and What’s Next

  • Identifies emerging risks, overlaps, or gaps across initiatives.
  • Flags issues early and recommends adjustments to scope or sequencing.
  • Provides forward‑looking insight to support decision‑making.

Types of Initiatives

Enterprise Technology & AI Enablement

  • Adoption and scaling of AI and emerging technologies.
  • Supporting guardrails, validation expectations, and responsible use.

Strategic Technology Programs

  • Cross‑functional, CTO‑led initiatives tied to modernization and new capabilities.
  • Programs requiring tight coordination and senior‑level alignment.

Governance and Operating Models

  • Reinforcing standards, decision forums, and ways of working.
  • Supporting steering committees and executive governance bodies.

Change and Adoption Initiatives

  • Translating strategy into how teams work.
  • Coordinating communications, enablement, and feedback loops.

Executive Readiness

  • Preparing briefing materials, insights, and decision support.
  • Ensuring leaders are informed, aligned, and not surprised.

Skills and attributes for success

  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in a corporate, consulting, or professional services environment, with demonstrated responsibility for driving complex, cross‑functional initiatives end‑to‑end.
  • Prior experience within a Big Four firm or large enterprise environment strongly preferred, particularly in roles supporting senior leadership or enterprise transformation programs.
  • Proven experience supporting or delivering transformation initiatives (e.g., technology, digital, AI, operating model, or large‑scale change programs).
  • Strong hands‑on experience translating executive‑level direction into structured plans, milestones, workstreams, and ownership models.
  • Demonstrated ability to track progress, manage dependencies, surface risks early, and sustain momentum across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience operating with a high degree of autonomy, exercising judgment on when to act independently versus escalate.
  • Experience preparing executive‑ready materials (e.g., decks, briefings, decision papers) with a high bar for clarity, consistency, and quality.
