  • Guide clients in understanding organizational readiness, workflow impacts, clinician adoption challenges, and required behavior changes.

Engagement & Collaboration

  • Work in close partnership with technical, clinical, and operational leaders to align project decisions with change and adoption requirements.
  • Coordinate with PMO, Clinical Informatics, and Technical teams to ensure people‑related risks are clearly understood and addressed.
  • Mentor and develop junior consultants through coaching, supervision, and project role modeling.

Business Development

  • Lead and support proposal development, RFP responses, and market‑facing initiatives in the healthcare advisory space.
  • Help identify new client needs, opportunities, and innovative service offerings to grow the CIS change management portfolio.

Skills and attributes for success

Deep understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and the realities of clinician adoption during major system changes.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change management workstreams on complex, multi‑site CIS implementations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and compelling messages for clinicians and executives.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, including leading workshops, decision‑making sessions, clinical engagement forums, and activation planning.
  • Ability to manage risks, monitor progress, and deliver high‑quality work within project timelines and budgets.
  • Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and the ability to inspire confidence in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities and drive practice growth.
  • Ability to travel as required for client engagements.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, organizational development, human resources, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred (MBA, MHSc, MSc Health Informatics, etc.).
  • 8+ years of healthcare consulting or advisory experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on change management.
  • Proven experience supporting or leading clinical information system implementations (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts, or equivalent).
  • Experience across the full lifecycle of change: readiness, impact analysis, design, communications, training, go‑live support, and stabilization.
  • PROSCI or equivalent Change Management certification is an asset.
