EY Canada is seeking an experienced Manager – Technical Lead to join our growing Microsoft Power Platform team. Our Microsoft solutions group spans advisory and planning, design and architecture, implementation, training, and business adoption. With our extensive network of industry experts working across four service lines, EY is uniquely positioned to help clients capitalize on customer‑ and data‑centric digital transformation strategies.
As a Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions using Power Platform and Copilot Studio, enabling intelligent automation, conversational AI, and AI‑powered business experiences at scale.

Your key responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
- Lead the technical design and architecture of Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, AI Builder, and Copilot Studio.
- Architect and govern Copilot Studio solutions,tf(2.0) here, including custom copilots, generative AI workflows, and integrations with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and enterprise systems.
- Serve as the technical authority across multiple client engagements, ensuring alignment with Microsoft best practices, Responsible AI principles, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Guide development teams through solution implementation, including code reviews, performance optimization, and ALM strategies across Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
Project Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of Power Platform and Copilot Studio–enabled solutions, from requirements gathering and design through deployment and post-launch support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, solution architects, data teams, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and governance requirements, particularly in regulated environments.
- Define and implement DevOps and ALM strategies for Power Platform and Copilot Studio, including environment strategy, pipelines, and release management.
Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business needs into intelligent, AI-powered solutions using Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
- Lead technical workshops, architecture sessions, and demos showcasing Copilot Studio, conversational AI, and automation use cases.
- Provide strategic input on digital transformation initiatives, including AI adoption, automation roadmaps, and employee- and customer-facing copilots.
- Support clients in establishing governance models and adoption strategies for Power Platform and Copilot Studio
Team Management & Mentorship
- Manage and mentor consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new technical talent.
- Promote agile delivery practices and DevOps principles across teams.
Skills and attributes for success
- Minimum 6–8 years in software development or technical consulting, with at least 3 years in Power Platform leadership roles.
- Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600), or equivalent.
- Deep expertise in Power Platform components and integrations.
- Experience with Azure services, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, API integration, and security frameworks.
- Methodologies: Agile/Scrum experience; familiarity with Scaled Agile (SAFe) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French is an asset for Québec-based projects.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
- Toronto: $110,000 to $165,000
