The opportunity

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager to lead our Finance Transformation EPM team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Business Performance Planning, business performance planning, exceptional leadership skills, and extensive experience with Microsoft technologies. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of performance planning solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Involvement in all facets of the consulting cycle:
  • Requirements gathering and workshop facilitation: Engage with clients to understand their business needs and facilitate workshops to gather detailed requirements.
  • Design, configure, and implement planning solutions leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem: Develop customized planning solutions using Microsoft tools and technologies to meet client-specific needs.
  • Assist with client pursuits and proposal development: Support business development efforts by contributing to client proposals and presentations.
  • Design and implement data architectures and governance: Create robust data architectures and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Implement and deploy Microsoft planning ecosystems for clients: Oversee the deployment of Microsoft planning solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Manage client deliverables and lead engagement team resources and activities: Coordinate project deliverables, manage timelines, and lead the engagement team to ensure successful project outcomes.


Skills and attributes for success

  • Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Microsoft Power BI: Experience creating interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate performance metrics
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365: Familiarity with ERP for integrated business planning and performance tracking
  • SQL: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or similar for data visualization and reporting.
  • Financial Planning Software: Knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar.
  • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management software


To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is beneficial
  • 3 - 5 years of consulting experience in a client-facing role
  • 5 + years of advanced working experience and knowledge of Microsoft solutions:
  • Adept skills with the Power Platform
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 ERP
  • Experience in FP&A and with leading EPM tools is ideal
  • Experience with data analytics platforms like Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, or similar for large-scale data processing
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • 5+ years of experience in business performance planning, financial analysis, or related roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Advanced degree in a related field: A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, or similar.
  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools: Proficiency in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to analyze and visualize data effectively.
  • Knowledge of financial planning and analysis: Understanding of financial principles and experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
