Manager, Strategic Transaction Advisory and Accounting & Reporting - Assurance - Toronto
Job description
At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.
We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.
Join EY and help to build a better working world.
The Opportunity
If you are ready to take your accounting expertise beyond the audit cycle and into high-profile transactions and strategic decisions, this could be your next move. Step into a highly visible Manager role within Strategic Transaction Advisory and Accounting & Reporting (STAAR), where you’ll be trusted to help leading organizations navigate their most complex, high-stakes strategic transactions. Working directly with senior finance leaders and executives, you’ll influence pivotal decisions and advise on transformative events—including acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, capital raises, finance transformations, accounting framework conversions, and the adoption of new accounting standards.
STAAR sits at the intersection of technical accounting, strategic transactions, and finance transformation, combining deep expertise with practical business insight. Unlike traditional audit or deal advisory roles, you’ll stay close to the action—from assessing and documenting the accounting implications of a transaction to helping clients implement solutions and shape their future finance and reporting functions. Working across industries and alongside multidisciplinary teams, you’ll help clients make confident decisions in an increasingly complex environment.
This role is designed to accelerate your growth as a strategic advisor and leader. You’ll deepen your technical and transaction expertise, develop executive presence, lead multidisciplinary teams, build meaningful client relationships, and gain the commercial experience to help grow a rapidly expanding practice.
This job posting relates to an existing vacancy within our organization.
