Our People Consulting professionals assist our clients in successfully managing and sustaining people, process and/or technology change. Our services include HR technology assessments, process design & transformation, vendor assessment & selection, target operating models’ definition, HCM implementation, and post-implementation optimization.

 

We are looking for a Dayforce Senior Consultant to join our rapidly growing Digital Workforce Transformation practice across Canada (Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax, Vancouver, Calgary).

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of talented consultants to successfully deliver Dayforce HCM solutions to our clients.
  • Support Dayforce HCM system configurations according to our clients' specifications.
  • Manage Dayforce HCM engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Act as a liaison between our clients and Dayforce, managing communications and escalations as necessary.
  • Develop and provide training to our clients' end-users to ensure they are proficient in using Dayforce HCM features and offer ongoing support to resolve any post-implementation challenges.
  • Oversee the creation of clear and concise documentation. Documentation of final client deliverables should be tailored to the audience, highlight critical findings or decisions. Documentation varies from project level requirements, design, strategy, and plan execution approach to executive level presentation materials.
  • Develop people. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/training. Foster an innovative and team-oriented work environment.
  • Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve a high-quality deliverable and within expected timeframes. Monitor progress, manage risk, and confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management. Focus on deliverables and client business priorities. Manage expectations of service. Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers and business trends.
  • Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge. Keep up to date with current developments and trends in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
  • Identify new business opportunities. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with other EY team members across all practices to serve client needs.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel; willingness to travel on short notice to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 30%
     

To qualify candidate must have:

  • A related bachelor's degree
  •  Approximately 5-7 years in HCM system implementations with a Dayforce experience preferred.
  • Dayforce certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in participating and/or leading client discussions – requirements gathering, user stories/test scenario creation, solution configuration, lead/support testing and drive deployment.
  • Experience in HCM system configuration
  • Demonstrated record in driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level of Fortune 500 companies
  • Willingness to travel on short notice, travel is estimated at 30%
