The opportunity 


We currently have a career opportunity for Manager-Data Protection in our consulting team to participate in multiple client engagement teams and related activities. As a member, you'll develop, deliver and lead cybersecurity and IT risk client engagements as well as internal projects. An important part of your role will be to actively establish internal and external relationships in public and private sector. 

 

You'll also identify potential business opportunities for EY within new and existing engagements and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you'll anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues with senior members of the team. In line with EY's commitment to quality, you'll confirm that work is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for managing Data Protection related engagements, lab setup, and resource management for the Data Protection team.
  • Manage relationships with Data Protection vendors.
  • Evaluate and manage the existing data protection frameworks, accelerators and templates that are leveraged for client engagements.
  • Manage the Data Protection lab and the data security analysts on day-to-day lab activities.
  • Manage Data Protection related engagements and the Data Protection team.

 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Minimum of three years experience working in data protection compliance or a related field
  • Expertise in DLP, Data Discovery, Data Classification and Labeling.
  • Good understanding of data encryption capabilities (i.e., field level encryption, Transparent Data Encryption and File level encryption)
  • Good understanding in data obfuscation capabilities (i.e., data masking, tokenization)
  • Expertise in protecting PI data at-rest in transit and in-use. The candidate should understand how these capabilities can be be applied on-prem environments, cloud, development
  •  (lower-level environments) and on data analytics platforms.
  • Good understanding of Data Governance principles (e.g., data glossary, ownership, custodianship)
  • Expertise in Microsoft O365 DLPm and AIP.
  • Expertise in products such as BigID, OneTrus and Securiti AI or any other similar new gen. data discovery products.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness and ability to travel
