The Opportunity 

Our Risk team provides comprehensive risk services that help companies around the world evaluate and enhance their risk management and internal audit functions. Professionals in this role will work within the Business Consulting – Enterprise Risk group focusing on Internal Audits and SOX 404 compliance engagements to evaluate and test business process controls, management review controls and application controls to support financial statement audits, service organizational control reporting as well as internal audit projects. Join our stream as an Enterprise Risk Manager or Senior Manger.   

 

Your key responsibilities 
As an Internal Audit professional, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive risk services through a suite of strategic, outsourcing, and industry-focused operational recommendations that help companies around the world evaluate and enhance their internal audit and risk management functions. We plan, lead, and perform internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and risk advisory projects in accordance with the client's risk management strategy, resulting in the identification of control enhancements, operational and compliance process improvements, and efficiency opportunities as well as company-wide cost improvements. 

 

You will also be responsible for establishing relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently delivering quality client services, monitoring progress, managing risk and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes while staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business 

 

We are hiring into our Enterprise Risk group in the following roles 

 

Manager: As a manager, you will play a pivotal role on projects, crafting strategies, and delivering recommendations to help our clients with their most pressing issues. You will be responsible for project oversight and delivery; team management and coaching; as well as developing and maintaining productive relationships with clients. Managers will also be involved in practice development initiatives ranging from business development to staff and team development. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing senior consultants work and for coaching as well as developing them.  
 
Senior Manager: As a senior manager, you will work closely with the Partner(s) to craft strategies, manage projects and deliver recommendations to help our clients with their most pressing issues. You will also be responsible for project oversight and delivery; team management and coaching; as well as developing and maintaining productive relationships with clients. You will also review managers work and be involved in practice development initiatives ranging from business development to staff and team development. Additionally, you will participate in and lead various firm initiatives.  

 
Skills and Attributes for Success 

 

To qualify for the role you must have  

  • Manager: A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience  

  • Senior Manager: Between 8-10 years of relevant experience 

  • Relevant designations e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, CFA etc. or demonstrated interest in pursuing and completing the required examinations 

  • Prior experience in a Big4 preferred 

  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT), Government and Public Sector (GPS) Multinationals and Large Corporations 

  • Demonstrated competence in one or more of the following: SOX, Internal Audits, ICFR, ITGCs, IT audits, Model valuation, Automation, Basel/Capital Adequacy requirements, audit committee presentations and ERM 

  • Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint 

  • Experience leading and coaching teams of varying sizes  

  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines 

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 

  • A valid driver’s license driver’s license and passport or be in the process of obtaining these documents
