The opportunity

As a CIAM Architect, you will be responsible as a visionary for leading the engagement and guiding the team on architecture, technical design and implementation of Customer Identity and Access Management solution. The ideal person must be experienced in driving CIAM technology changes, strategy and delivering projects, in cloud and on-premise environments.  Must be familiar with risk framework, compliance and auditing controls required to implement access management on cloud based and on-premise resources. The person should have experience with integration, solution on different CIAM platforms.

Your key responsibilities:

  • CIAM architecture, solution design and development
  • Creating roadmap, strategy and technology fitment
  • Design of customer life cycle use cases  
  • Defining risk framework and implementing fraud prevention solution
  • CIAM Platform establishment in on-prem and cloud env
  • Customer application integration to CIAM platform
  • Implementing advance technologies as FIDO2, Identity Proofing, Passwordless authentication 
  • Designing and implementing Third Party integration
  • Implementing customized use cases and solution
  • Customer data and credential migration strategy, implementation
  • CIAM policy set up, audit compliance and implementing governance framework
  • Providing technical expertise to complex relevant problems
  • Leading technical deliveries and service offerings
  • Maintaining client relationship and guide to success


Skills and attributes for success:

  • Should have hands-on working knowledge of all phases (Design, Development, Testing) of CIAM solution implementation
  • Experienced and have 8+ years in leading identity programs including 3+ years in an architect role
  • 3+ years of hands on experience in design & development, implementation of CIAM solution 
  • Strong Experience with Risk Based Authentication, Fraud prevention techniques
  • Design, configuration experience with multiple leading CIAM products (Auth0, Azure B2C, ForgeRock)
  • Knowledge on, advanced ID proofing solutions
  • Prior experience with customer data migration and strategy
  • Strong experience in Adaptive MFA, OAuth, SAML, OpenID, FIDO
  • Experience and understanding of OpenBanking, Third Party API security
  • Strong knowledge of web protocols XML, SOAP, JSON, REST.
  • Prior hands on experience working on programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL and other development frameworks.
  • Knowledge of software development security and Agile methodology.
  • Working experience on cloud environment like AWS, Azure
  • Knowledge on industry standards (NIST, DIACCC)
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Master or bachelor’s degree in information technology; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience 
  • Security Certification CISSP/CISA/ CISM or TOGAF/SABSA is a plus.


To qualify for the role, you must also have:

  • Operating systems: Linux, Unix Server, Windows 2012 Server or Later
  • Knowledge on Agile, DevOps
  • Be a strong team player with good communication skills.


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A high level of motivation, strong work ethic and self-starting attitude.
  • Proactive technical and business acumens in determining priorities and managing multiple deliveries and deadlines
