Benefits Coordinator; 1-year contract
Job description
Canada’s Total Rewards team is searching for a Benefits Administrative Lead to assist with the administration and analysis of the benefit and wellbeing functions. Reporting to the Supervising Associate, Pension and Benefits, this role has the opportunity to proactively define processes that simplify, align and drive consistency across the organization.
Your key responsibilities
- This role will be responsible for administering EY benefits programs (including medical, prescription drug, dental, life insurance and AD&D) as well as assisting with the annual benefits enrollment.
- Respond to escalations from EY HR Helpline, Benefits In-box, staff, partners and retirees on a timely basis
- Assist with ensuring all aspects of the annual enrolment project plan are delivered and implemented, including: employee communications/booklets, internal and external website content and site testing
- Liaise with Global Mobility Consultant to set up temporary benefits coverage for inpatriates and obtaining approval from insurer for extension of partner coverage while on assignment
- Process maternity leave top ups
- Process Short Term Disability claims – setting up claims and pay reductions
- Research issues which arise and provide options and recommendation to leader
- Develop Your Wellbeing DNA themes/content bi-weekly
- Identify, research and update content for HR Connection (Total Rewards sections)
- Assist with wellbeing events and campaigns
- General pension administration tasks
- Process and track Total Rewards invoices from vendors ensuring appropriate coding and timely payment
- Manage BRIDGE process for Total Rewards; working with procurement to ensure the BRIDGEs are completed and submitted in a timely and accurate manner
- Electronic filing of pension and other personal records
- Assists in updating procedures and policy document on the firm sites
- Assist with other Total Rewards initiatives as required

- This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and professionals nationally and globally. Professional competency in the English language is therefore a requirement of this role. Bilingualism in both French and English is considered an asset.
To qualify for the role you must have
- A Bachelor's degree or a certificate in Human Resources (or a related field). Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- 1+ years’ experience in Human Resources is preferred

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $49,200 to $73,800. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
