The opportunity

The AI Adoption & Enablement Specialist is a strategic enablement and communications role within the Office of the CTO, focused on helping accelerate AI adoption across EY Canada.

This role translates the firm’s AI priorities, tools and outcomes into clear, practical and business-relevant content that helps people understand what is available, what is working and where value is being realized.

A core part of the role is identifying, curating and amplifying high-quality Canadian AI use cases that demonstrate meaningful adoption across the firm. Working closely with service lines, AI practitioners and key stakeholders, the AI Adoption & Enablement Specialist creates visibility around successful use of approved enterprise AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and agentic AI solutions.

This role is responsible for turning complex AI activity into simple, credible and audience-appropriate enablement content, communications and executive-ready narratives. It plays an important part in strengthening adoption, reinforcing momentum and helping build a connected AI community across Canada.

This job posting relates to an existing vacancy within our organization.

Role responsibilities

  • Support AI adoption across EY Canada by developing practical, high-impact enablement content that helps individuals and teams understand how approved enterprise AI tools can be used effectively in day-to-day work.
  • Design and maintain modular enablement materials such as quick-reference guides, walkthroughs, visual explainers, learning assets and other practical content that supports capability uplift.
  • Ensure enablement content remains current and aligned with evolving AI tools, releases, internal priorities and governance expectations.

Use case identification and amplification

  • Proactively engage across Canadian service lines to identify active and emerging AI use cases, with a focus on high-impact, production-level and business-relevant examples that showcase meaningful adoption.
  • Curate, package and publish high-quality Canadian AI use cases on a regular basis to improve visibility, demonstrate momentum and show where value is being realized across the firm.
  • Maintain a structured and scalable repository of Canadian AI use cases to support adoption, storytelling and broader internal awareness.

Content, communications and storytelling

  • Translate complex AI initiatives, tools and outcomes into clear, concise and compelling narratives tailored to different audiences, including practitioners, service line leadership and senior executives.
  • Produce high-quality communications and enablement assets such as briefings, spotlights, summaries, explainers and executive-ready materials that help simplify complexity and strengthen understanding.
  • Reinforce recognition and visibility by highlighting individuals, teams and service lines that are demonstrating meaningful AI adoption and innovation.
  • Ensure all content reflects approved strategic messaging and aligns with enterprise priorities and governance expectations.

Stakeholder collaboration and community engagement

  • Work closely with the Office of the CTO, service line stakeholders, AI practitioners, and change and communications teams to surface relevant stories, create enablement content and support adoption efforts.
  • Contribute to building a connected and engaged AI community across Canada by sharing credible examples of what is working, what is emerging and where momentum is building.
  • Use storytelling, visibility and practical content to support behavioural change, encourage engagement and sustain adoption over time.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong ability to translate complex AI and technical concepts into clear, concise and engaging business language.
  • Proven experience developing enablement, adoption or communications content for a range of audiences, including senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve content creation, synthesis and workflow efficiency.
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills, with strong judgment for narrative clarity, quality and audience relevance.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound content decisions with limited direction, engage broadly across stakeholders and deliver in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience working in a large, complex, multi-service-line or professional services environment.
  • Exposure to AI adoption, digital transformation or enterprise technology enablement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with internal communications, change management or community-led engagement approaches.
  • Experience working effectively in environments where priorities are evolving and structures are still being established.
