The opportunity

We are looking for a PMO Analyst / PMO Consultant to join the EY Romania team and support the governance, coordination, and delivery of projects and transformation initiatives.

You will be part of a collaborative, high-performing team that works closely with project managers, leadership & delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure structured execution, transparency, and delivery excellence across initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Support the setup and operation of PMO frameworks, standards, and governance processes across projects and programs
• Assist in maintaining project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules
• Track and report on project status, risks, issues, actions, and dependencies (RAID)
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and management presentations for project and steering committees
• Support financial tracking activities, including budget monitoring, forecasts, and cost reporting
• Assist with change control processes, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
• Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and governance forums, including agenda and minutes preparation
• Maintain project documentation, templates, and repositories in line with EY standards
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support delivery activities and resolve operational issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and optimization opportunities

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

• Completed or ongoing higher education in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Engineering, IT, or a related field
• Min. 2 years of experience in PMO, service management, project coordination, or delivery support roles
• Basic understanding of project management concepts and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid)
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); exposure to PM tools is an advantage
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn, develop professional skills, and follow delivery best practices
• Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and professionalism in a work environment

Nice to Have

• Entry-level project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, ITIL Foundation, Agile fundamentals)
• Exposure to project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Power BI)
• Experience supporting transformation, IT, or business change initiatives
• Interest in project delivery, governance, or consulting environments
• Academic projects or practical experience related to project management or operations
