About the opportunity
EY’s Technology Consulting professionals bring a wealth of experience in working with major financial institutions to align their operating model and infrastructure to their business’ strategic objectives. We assemble the right multi-disciplinary teams, use consistent and proven global methodologies and tools, and draw on the full breadth of EY’s global network, to deliver value and trusted advice to the clients. The key service offerings cover finance function transformation, customer and distribution effectiveness, operations, shared services / outsourcing support, performance management, program advisory, enterprise intelligence, risk management and regulatory change.
Your key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust testing strategies and processes, and ensure they are properly implemented and followed.
- Participate in planning, estimation, and scheduling processes for all testing activities.
- Ensure the execution of functional, integration, system, and regression through Manual and Automation test processes on wealth management applications and platforms like Aladdin, eFront, etc.
- Review application designs, interface requirements, and specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Implement and manage quality control standards, methods, and procedures to ensure the test strategy meets both client’s and auditor’s requirements.
- Identify, analyse, and mitigate risks related to software quality at each phase of the software development process.
- Coordinate with different teams and across workstreams, including BlackRock solutions, client IT and finance departments and vendor parties, on a regular basis to understand and incorporate their input and feedback in the testing processes.
- Maintain a detailed record of test results and relay these results to stakeholders and both internal and external auditors in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage resources effectively ensuring on-time delivery of outcomes.
- Mentor, coach and train the testing team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Continually research and implement best testing practices, tools, and methods.
Skills & attributes for success:
- Candidate should have good knowledge on Investment management, portfolio management in both public and private side across universe of asset types, instrument variants and swift instructions involving third parties.
- Must have knowledge and experience with investment platforms like BlackRock Aladdin/ eFront, Simcorp Dimension, Bloomberg AIM, Charles River IMS, Temenos WealthSuite and Avaloq platforms.
- Experience in testing and good knowledge of automation testing frameworks and SDLC methodology.
- Experience in Wealth and Asset Management and managing Medium/Large scale testing projects for wealth/capital markets products and services using functional automation test processes.
- Knowledge of project management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps
- Have good knowledge of relational database and query languages.
- Must have Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills.
- Experience with Eagle IBOR and BlackRock Aladdin preferred.
