Junior lawyers are members of EY Law team serving clients in commercial and business law. The firm policy allows them to acquire exceptional practical experience on client engagements.

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

• Become familiar with the types of services that the firm provides
• Continually develop research, drafting, and case-management skills consistent with the firm’s professional requirements
• Assist with other administrative matters
• Stay current with developments, practice trends and legal updates
• Ensure effective communication and information sharing within the team
• Participate in civic, business community, and/or professional organizations
• Perform various professional duties as required and instructed by the supervisor

Technical skills and qualification requirements:

• University degree in law
• LLM from foreign university would be a plus
• Successfully passed exam of Georgian Bar Association with common or civil law specialization would be a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a law firm or in house is a must
• Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English; Knowledge of Georgian is a must
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation and goal orientation
• Ability to manage tasks under tight deadlines
• Computer literacy in using Microsoft Office programs
