The opportunity:

 

EY’s Assurance Service Line, gives organizations and their investors the confidence that the results they report, give a true and fair picture of their business. As an EY’s Audit Advanced Staffs you will be member of multiple client engagement teams and primarily assist in performing audits of client financial statements.

 

Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Develop working knowledge of the objectives of an audit (e.g. statutory and other regulatory requirements, client expectations, types of reports to be rendered) as well as the planned audit approach (including the effect of weaknesses in the control environment and other risks for the areas of the audit that they personally execute)
  • Execute and document audit procedures, such as obtaining an understanding of routine data processes, testing controls, and performing substantive procedures
  • Develop and utilize basic computer skills, including the firm’s computer-based audit tools
  • Participate in one-on-one and small group discussions with other engagement team members and client personnel
  • Interacts with client personnel and demonstrates a commitment to continually improve our client’s satisfaction

 

Skills and attributes for success:

 

  • Education in accounting, auditing or similar financial qualification, degree with sufficient course work to achieve ACCA certification
  • At least 18 months of experience as an auditor in an accounting firm, or relevant business/industry experience to meet specific needs
  • The desire to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English; applicants must have native-level proficiency in Georgian
