The opportunity: 

As entry-level employees, 1st Year Valuation in Audit Assistants work as part of multiple client engagement teams within the Valuation in Assurance (ViA) practice. They receive on-the-job training and gain practical experience in applying valuation methodologies, professional standards, and firm policies and procedures. Their primary responsibility is to assist in performing valuation analyses and supporting audit engagements involving real estate and other valuation-related matters.

Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Support the ViA (Valuation in Assurance) Team within the FAAS (Financial Accounting Advisory Services) department in performing analyses and valuation assessments of various types of real estate properties;
  • Assist in the review of valuations and financial models in the context of financial reporting and assurance engagements;
  • Contribute to audit and assurance engagements by providing support in the analysis of valuation-related matters;
  • Support engagement teams by conducting research, gathering information, and assisting in the evaluation of valuation methodologies, assumptions, and supporting documentation;
  • Develop knowledge of valuation professional standards, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Gain familiarity with key valuation frameworks, including the RICS Red Book Global Standards, International Valuation Standards (IVS), and IFRS 13;
  • Prepare working papers, analyses, and other engagement documentation under the guidance of senior team members;
  • Collaborate with team members across different engagements while building technical and professional skills in valuation and assurance.

 

What we look for: 

 

  • Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, Accounting, or a related field. A focus on Valuation is considered an advantage;
  • Interest in real estate valuation and a willingness to develop knowledge of different types of real estate properties;
  • Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English, with native‑level proficiency in Georgian. Knowledge of German or French is considered an advantage for certain engagements;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Self‑motivation, initiative, and a goal‑oriented mindset;
  • A strong academic record is an advantage;
  • Relevant work or internship experience is an advantage;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is an advantage.
