The opportunity  

Join EY’s Baltic Independence Team and build expertise in compliance, regulation, audit quality, and risk management. In this role, you will support EY professionals in meeting independence requirements through guidance, reviews, and compliance monitoring. You’ll gain valuable experience in a global professional services environment while contributing to the trust and integrity that underpin EY’s audit quality. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to develop specialist knowledge and grow their career.

Your key responsibilities  

• Support EY professionals with independence-related questions, policies, and tools.
• Assist with independence reviews, assessments, and compliance processes.
• Prepare documentation and support independence consultations and audits.
• Monitor learning completions, confirmations, and other compliance activities.
• Maintain independence systems, records, guidance materials, and internal resources.
• Prepare training materials, communications, and presentations on independence topics.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Baltics and the wider EY network on risk management initiatives.
• Support senior team members with ongoing independence, compliance, and ad hoc projects.

Skills and attributes for success

• University degree (completed or in progress) in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong Estonian and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Interest in compliance, risk management, technology, and AI-powered solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to details.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working with different stakeholders.
