The opportunity - kickstart your career in fraud investigation!

The Fraud Investigation team in EY’s Audit department is looking for a sharp-eyed and proactive junior consultant to join our dynamic team.

This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their professional journey who is eager to learn and grow. You’ll be involved in diverse projects and supported by experienced team members who will guide you through the essentials of fraud investigation. Our international and collaborative environment offers a strong foundation for developing the skills needed to become a future leader in business.

Your key responsibilities:

• Work with business stakeholders, internal and external auditors, lawyers, fraud investigators, and regulatory authorities on projects related to regulatory compliance, including AML/CFT, GDPR, risk management, internal control systems (assessments, improvements, developments), as well as fraud investigations
• Handle a large amount of structured and unstructured information from a variety of sources, including open-source intelligence
• Perform an analysis of information to identify potential fraud risks or non-compliance with laws and regulations
• Together with more senior team members look for new opportunities to create value for our new and prospective clients

We value motivation to continually develop personal skills through training, experience, and coaching, also building strong internal relationships within other departments and teams across the organization, likewise understanding and following workplace policies and procedures.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• A degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Fluency in spoken and written Estonian and English;
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; experience with SQL or other data analysis tools is advantageous
• A deep interest in the financial sector, its services, and products, and a habit of staying informed on Estonian & international business news
• Experience in anti-money laundering, internal audit, or regulatory compliance is considered as an advantage
